My name is Ken Rowland aka The F/Stop Guy. I am a husband and the father to two amazing boys. Time with my family is precious and I’m blessed to be able to be a partner to my wife and a role model to my boys.

I’m your typical amateur photographer in that photography is a fantastic outlet I use to get away from the daily grind. It’s helped me realize that I can be creative. Skill in another art form of any kind escapes me but making photographs gets my juices flowing. My passion is landscape photography. I continue to be in awe of the beauty of our lands, in particular, the mountains. There’s no place I’d rather be on a daily basis.

I’ve been practicing photography for over thirty years beginning with a film camera that was a gift for my high school graduation. My interest level in photography has had it’s peaks and valleys. At one point, I even sold all my gear and declared that I was done with photography. It turns out I wasn’t. Digital photography drew me back in and I’ve been out shooting ever since.

For many years, I shot with Canon gear exclusively but I began working with the Fujifilm X series cameras about two years ago. I’ve finally made a complete switch to Fujifilm gear and shoot regularly with two Fujifilm bodies and an assortment of Fujifilm lenses.

I hope you enjoy my photos. Feel free to leave comments.
