Norcross Classic Car Show

1957 Buick Norcross Classic Car Show

Yesterday was car show heaven! The annual Norcross (Georgia) Classic Car Show took place in historic downtown Norcross. This is by far the largest event I’ve attended yet with upwards of 300 cars and a few motorcycles represented.

There was a wide variety of models and years at the show. A lot of hot rods as well as fully restored older models like the 1957 Buick sedan pictured above. One of my favorites was the fully restored 1932 Mercedes Benz. While it was a beautiful car overall, the long flowing lines caught my eye. This was one sweet ride! Below are the side pipes.

When I attend a show like this, it’s often challenging to take photos of cars with all the people milling about each vehicle. This show was no exception. Another challenge is getting there and beginning your shooting before the sun gets high overhead and creates too many unwanted reflections. Each of these photos was taken before late morning to take advantage of the lower sun angle.

These shows are a lot of fun. I’ll post additional photos from this event in the coming days.
